What happens when we find and combine your pensions

Many people have several pensions scattered across old jobs. Pension App helps you trace and combine these into a single account. Once your pensions are transferred into a Pension App pension, you can see your combined value in one place.

From that point onwards, your account updates every day, showing you how your savings are performing and giving you a clearer picture of your financial future.

Your fund options

When your pensions are combined, your savings are invested in one of four BlackRock MyMap funds, which you can choose depending on your preference:

  • BlackRock MyMap 3 Ultra-Cautious – our lowest risk option.

  • BlackRock MyMap 4 Cautious– a lower risk option with more defensive assets.

  • BlackRock MyMap 5 Balanced– a blend of cautious and adventurous assets.

  • BlackRock MyMap 6 Adventurous– a higher risk, higher growth potential option.

You can switch between these funds through your Pension App account if you want to change your approach.

Transparent fees

We believe fees should be simple and clear. Pension App charges:

  • 0.6% transfer fee – applied when pensions are brought into Pension App.

  • 0.82% annual management charge (AMC) – covering the ongoing management of your account and the BlackRock fund fee.

There are no hidden extras or unexpected charges. What you see is what you pay.
